Qualifications:

3. Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
CareFirst Medical Group is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team in delivering exceptional patient care. The Medical Assistant will perform both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures.
- Administer injections and perform basic lab tests as needed.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records in the EHR system.
- Handle billing and insurance claims processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Medical Assisting is a plus.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
